Hotel Pool-1, Disneyworld-0

It's official. We wasted our money; Or so says the unanimous vote that was taken between the 4 kids old enough to vote and I'm sure judging by Emma's reaction that if she had any clue what we were talking about that she would agree: Apparently the happiest place on earth is NOT Disneyworld but the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort...The hotel pool beat out Disneyworld on the fun scale. Little did we know that we could have simply brought the kids to Orlando, taken them to Downtown Disney for free (minus a few bucks spent on souvenirs and food) and let them play at the hotel pool all day and they would have been happier! Granted, the hotel does have an awesome pool area. There are two pools, one has a 2 story enclosed water slide and the other is zero entry with jets and rain spouts and a volleyball net which is perfect for toddlers.

We actually cut Epcot short yesterday just to bring the kids back and let them swim. We then ordered pizza, ate mickey mouse cupcakes and watched Lilo and Stitch piled up on the pullout couch. Cute overload! When asked if they would rather go to Animal Kingdom today or stay at the pool and swim the unanimous response was stay and swim. Really?!? We probably should have tested this theory with a morning at the pool before buying Disney tickets!

The time has come, though, to pack our bags back up, reload the car and possibly start a kiddie revolt by taking them to the Animal Kingdom instead of the pool.
